NODRFT, a local drifting organization, hosted a huge event this past weekend called, EYOB, or End of the Year Bash.
Taking place at the newly built Nola Motorsports race track, this event was anything but amateur. Great atmosphere, plenty of drifting, and tons of seat time for the drivers made for a fantastic event before kicking over to the new year.
So, I've been trying to think of what I can say to best describe this wedding. I'm speechless. That's how freaking awesome it was. I couldn't have asked for a more fun, easy going, and insanely fun couple to work with.
Their venue was nothing short of awesome as well, but that's expected from Latrobe's on Royal. From the dimly lit, romantic vibes down to a downright killer DJ who really took us by surprise, we were constantly impressed by this couple and their style.
To top it all off, they closed the night by second-lining down Bourbon Street. That's right, a second line, down Bourbon...on a Saturday night. It was OFF. THE. CHAIN.
Anyways, since I'm horrible at telling you how awesome it truly was, I'll just shut up and show you.
Oh man, where to start with these three? About a year ago, I donated a family session to a charity raffle, and never heard anything about it ever again. Until about a month ago, Susan the mother of these three awesome kids gave me a call and setup a session. She showed up with three of the coolest kids, full of personality, that I've ever met.
So when my good friend Russell Harris and his wife Michelle asked me to come take some portraits of their newborn daughter Luna, I felt completely honored. I don't normally do newborns or kids, it isn't my forte, but I couldn't have been more willing and eager to shoot for them.
