Daniel & Ashley - New Orleans City Park Proposal

It's going to be one hell of year. First my brother gets engaged, and now one of my best friends and someone I consider a brother even though we aren't blood related, popped the question. Much love guys, congrats.

Austin & Brittany - Tree of Life Proposal

So like, my younger brother got engaged. I was there to catch it, and I couldn't have been happier for the two of them.

Tony & Cheri - Cedar Grove Plantation

So here's Tony and Cheri, a couple I had never met, until the day of their wedding. Which is unusual considering I generally have a face to face meeting with every one of my couples. I didn't really know what to expect, we exchanged a few emails, and I got a really cool vibe from them.

I had no idea how much of a treat I was in for until I got to Cheri's house for the prep. They were a couple after my own heart, a house full of anime and comic book paraphernalia.  I was in heaven and I knew right away we were going to have a blast with them.

They had some killer details that were very Game of Thrones / medieval fantasy inspire  and a welcoming group of friends and family that was just amazing to be around. I about lost my cool when Tony showed up rocking scouters, they even friggin' lit up and spoke in Japanese! I mean, how cool is that?!

Anyways, here they are! Congrats you two!

Japan

So like, I went to Japan this summer, for my honeymoon. It was rad. Don't believe me, peep the frames below.

George & Christine - Mater Dolorosa Church

Funny story, Christine and I know each other. Like really friggin' well. We used to work together, and by work I mean do nothing but goof off the whole time.

She's crazy, and I mean the awesome fun kind of crazy. I don't know how George does it, but he's a saint. Hah. I went to high school with George's younger brother and didn't really get to know him until after Christine and I got close.

These two are awesome. And their reception, well that was one hell of a party. Non-stop dancing all night, just how I like it.

It’s not a party until someone splits their pants.

Ryan & Rachelle - Sacred Heart Chapel

I really dig, small intimate weddings. You know the what I'm talking about, the ones that don't worry about details, or how big their budget is. The only thing that matters is the passion and love between the couple.

Ryan and Rachelle had that by the boat loads, and then some. This was by far the shortest wedding I've ever had the pleasure of shooting, but let me just tell you, that there was an abundance of love in the air with these two, and it was an absolute treat to be the one to capture that moment for them.

Ryan & Emily - Chateau Country Club

Party of the year. For real, I couldn't have asked for a better couple to ring in the new year with.

I knew we were going to be in for a crazy fun wedding the second I got the inquiry from Emily. She's one of a kind and I mean that in the best freaking way, and Ryan is the perfect person for her. Those two were made for each other.

Their wedding even had a mascot, which happened to be a whale from Lucy's. I love quirky things like that.

In a nutshell: Incredible couple, awesomely wild party, and love everywhere.

Adrian & Erica - Mason Dupy Wedding

Shooting at Mason Dupy is always a treat, and with such a great couple like Adrian and Erica, it really makes for a spectacular night.

Their ceremony was incredible, with The Mason Dupy's fountain and candlelit wall for the perfect backdrop, it was nothing but intimate as the sun went down giving off the most incredible light and setting the stage for romance.

Once the swap happened and the reception kicked off, it turned into a full on party which was an absolute blast to be a part of. It's weddings like this that truly make me happy to have been able to capture it all.

Nick Briseno - BMW M3

Every now and then I get these crazy ideas, but never end up putting them to use. This time I decided to act on it and see how it'd turn out.

I ended up calling up a friend of mine from EAS and asked if he'd like to model with his car. I really wanted to get a James Bondish feel to them, and I felt like Nick was the perfect person and had the right car for the job.

Anyways, here is the end result, which I'm really happy with and so stoked to finally be posting up on my blog. Plenty more of this type of stuff in the works now.

Enjoy.

Chelsea & Kevin - St. Rita's Uptown Wedding

When I first set out to meet with Chelsea & Kevin, I knew from the minute they pulled up, that I had to shoot their wedding, after all Kevin and I drive the same car, haha. We meshed really well, and I always love it when I have so much in common with a couple, it makes me feel like I'm shooting a wedding for a couple that I've known forever.

Their wedding was incredible, from the intimate first look at the Notre Dame seminary courtyard, the gorgeous ceremony at St. Rita's uptown, all the way to the wild and fun reception at the Kenner City Pavilion.

Congrats you two!
