New Orleans Elopement - Tim & Nichole

Tim & Nichole decided to sneak away from their home in Houston to New Orleans and elope, and I can't even begin to tell you how honored and excited I was to have been the only person aside from their son Levi to have been in attendance.  What made the day even more special was this romantic and intimate fog that lingered over the city, the atmosphere was just right for an elopement in the heart of the French Quarter.

Photographing weddings in New Orleans is fantastic, but when you get an amazing couple like these two who just wanted to sneak away and just be together, you know it's going to be something special. Throughout the entire day you could just feel the love and happiness between them, and it was infectious.

My face actually hurt afterwards from smiling and laughing with them all day, and their son Levi was a blast to hang out with as well. I feel absolutely privileged to have been able to tell your story.

New Orleans Engagement - Corey & Sophie

Sophie and Corey got in contact with us earlier this year. The thought to have some portraits taken of the two of them before their wedding hadn't come across their mind until they saw our work. We were floored, and extremely honored to have the privilege of photographing them.

Going into it, we knew that the vibe and feel for their session had to be true to their love for each other. We wanted to avoid the traditional style of portraits while shooting at Audubon Park in New Orleans and kept it as real as they were, focusing on the heart and soul of their relationship, their love of one another.

We couldn't be more thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture their love, and we're absolutely stoked to be able to photograph their wedding in March this year. Spring time, it's for lovers y'all.

Brian & Sarah - Henry Howard Hotel

New Orleans Wedding Photographer - Wedding Photography

Photographing elopements in New Orleans has quickly become one of the most satisfying things about being a photographer in New Orleans. Here we are getting the opportunity to capture an amazingly intimate story of two people who in most cases have traveled pretty far, just to join each other in marriage in our beautiful city. Like how dope is that?

Especially if the couple is a really rad set of people who hails all the way from Seattle. You know, like Brian and Sarah here.

I feel so privileged to have been able to photograph their story for them at the gorgeous Henry Howard Hotel that opened up earlier this year. The venue fit these two perfectly, with its brass instruments lining the walls and sleek decor. The perfect fit for an amazing couple who's hometown is super rich with music.

These two were some of the sweetest and kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of photographing, and it was an absolute honor to be able to tell their story of their journey from Seattle, WA down to New Orleans, LA.

Here's to life's journey together! Congratulations y'all!

Kenny & Marley - Chateau Country Club Wedding

New Orleans Wedding Photographer - Wedding Photography

As a wedding photographer in New Orleans, we see a lot of weddings and meet a ton of really great people. Every now and then, we get the privilege of being able to photograph the wedding of some really close friends, like Kenny and Marley.

We were ecstatic when we first found out that Kenny and Marley were engaged, and even more so when they decided to entrust us with telling their wedding story. We knew going into this, that it was going to be a long and wild party till the very end, one filled with love and passion that bind the two together.

This is their story, and it's f***ing awesome.

The Swansons - San Francisco

So, my wife is rad!

For our 1 year anniversary / 30th Birthday present, she took me to San Francisco. We dubbed it our Oneymoon.

It was probably one of the coolest places we've been in the states. The weather was awesome and that view is the bomb.

If there was ever another city we'd leave NOLA for, it'd be San Francisco. Well that and Tokyo...but that's a whole different level there. Hah!

Rich & Abby - Oak Alley Proposal

Two rows of 300 year old live oak trees line a carefully maintained brick path. The brilliant green leaves match the manicured grass below, creating a breath taking scene with a nearly 200 year old, gorgeous southern plantation at the end. You can feel the history, it's in the air.

A couple goes for a stroll among them, hand in hand, just taking it in. The man turns, he grabs his partner, looks her in the eye and slowly lowers himself down on one knee, presenting a ring from inside his jacket. She gasps, hands covering her mouth in excitement, she is overjoyed, to the point of tears. It is in that moment that their lives are added to the history of that majestic place.

That is what we live for. Those little moments of life where time stops and love fills the air.

Ben & Sarah - City Park Vow Renewal

Meet Ben & Sarah. They came all the way from Kentucky to renew their vows in New Orleans, on their 10th year anniversary, and I was lucky enough to be there to photograph it for them.

I'm incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to be there with them. Their love, passion, and attitudes were so wonderful to be around. It's always easy to feel great when you've got rad couples like these two, who have been together for a such a long time standing in front of you, laughing, living and loving each other.

Congratulations y'all.

The Wall Family

From photographing their wedding, to shooting their newly formed family. It has been an absolute pleasure to have been able to photograph this family as it blossoms.

Sandy & Katie - French Quarter Wedding Chapel

I have never really had the opportunity to shoot elopements before this year, and I really wasn't sure what to expect when I talked with Sandy and Katie about photographing them.

These two people blew my mind with their personalities. They were incredible to be around, their presence lit up the room and they lit up each other. I remember walking back to my car thinking my face was literally hurting from smiling and laughing so much.

Their elopement was easily one of my top favorite moments of all time to photograph. The French Quarter Wedding Chapel where they became husband and wife was the coolest place I've ever seen, with it's signed bills hanging from the rafters, the plethora of random chandeliers and Reverend Tony who was hysterical.

We dare you to try and not smile while reliving their day, our bet is you probably can't.

Greg & Jamie - French Quarter Proposal

Proposals have really started to become one of my all time favorite moments to photograph. Mainly because the amount of emotion, passion, and love between two people escalates to a point where it boils over and infects everyone around. You can just feel it in the air, and its incredible. We felt honored and lucky to just be there, let alone photograph these two wonderful people.

Congratulations Greg & Jamie, we wish y'all the absolute best, and hope that New Orleans was everything and more than what you expected.
